Miss Taylor,
4's Teacher

My name is Taylor Nolan and I am 22 years old. I grew up in a small little town, Kelseyville, Ca, which is based out of Lake County, Ca. I am the second oldest of four and I come from a blended family. I grew up around children and as the oldest sibling in the house, I helped with my two younger siblings all the time. I have always had such a huge passion for children, and I've always been drawn to them.  I was raised around a lot of foster children as well, my grandparents have been foster parents for about 28 years now and because of that, my goal in life is to help change the child welfare system and foster system for the better. I have always known that God intended for me to work with kids, which is the path I've been on for years now.

I moved to Sacramento in the end of 2017 to attend CSUS, where I am currently finishing up my B.A in Liberal Studies Education, and A.A in Criminal Justice and History. I plan to attend Lincoln Law School here in Sacramento for a 3.5 year law program to become a CAL (Child Advocacy Lawyer) so I can start my journey in helping the Foster System.

I have been walking with God since I was a little girl, but in 2018 I decided it was time to get baptized at Adventure Christian Church. I have never really had a home church, but I am blessed to have found Encounter, which is where I am starting to make my home church. I enjoy working here with all my amazing team members, and with you and your children, the smiles your children bring everyday are the blessings God attended for all of us to see! I am proud to be the teacher in The Joy Class and I look forward to many more memories to come!
