Grace Class

6weeks-24 Months, Potty Trained: No
Group Size: 8
Ratio: 1 teacher to every 4 children

Our infant and toddler program goes far beyond regular daycare at Learning Pointe.  At Learning Pointe, our infants are encouraged to explore and grow with hands on experiences in a positive, mindfully crafted environment under the guidance of skilled and nurturing caregivers. The teachers are responsible for not only the daily care of the children but also tailoring the lesson plans to the needs of the children. This class gives warm, caring teachers an opportunity to bond and develop trust with little ones.

Hope Class

2-3 Years, Potty Trained: No
Group Size: 8
Ratio: 1 teacher to every 8 children

The Hope Class is designed to support our toddlers transitioning from the Grace Class to the preschool part of our program, along with helping students entering preschool for the very first time. With a low child to teacher ratio, we can offer more one on one time and create a program that meets your child’s needs in a smaller family environment. Our curriculum is faith based and through that we introduce colors, numbers, shapes, and the alphabet. In this class our primary focus is social and emotional development and potty training.

Hope Class 2

Love Class

2 1/2-3 1/2 Years, Potty Trained: Yes
Group Size: 12
Ratio: 1 teacher to every 12 children

In the Love class, we will learn how to build communication and problem solving skills as well as establish a sense of independence. The curriculum used in this class incorporates hands on, critical thinking situations, which will help us learn faith and academics.

Promise Class

3-4 Years, Potty Trained: Yes
Group Size: 12
Ratio: 1 teacher to every 12 children

While in this class the children will work on sitting for longer periods of time, working cooperatively with other children in centres or table work, understanding more about who God is and they will begin working on important fine motor skills (e.g. writing and tracing). Socialization is also a huge part of this class because the students are now beginning to articulate their interests and emotions more clearly, making it easier to bond with friends.

Faith Class

4-5 Years, Potty Trained: Yes
Group Size: 12
Ratio: 1 teacher to every 12 children

In this class, the children are preparing for kindergarten. Their day is more structured, they are working on mastering the alphabet and numbers (1-20) and they are working on developing potential life-long friendships. We believe strongly that children learn through play, so we have designed our program around the need for interaction. It is our goal to ensure that every child that transitions to Kindergarten from our school does so fully prepared. We make every effort to stay up-to-date with the current common core changes taking place. As the public-school system changes it's goals, you can count on us to ensure that your child is ready to handle the challenges that will come their way.
